A passionate enthusiast of classic cars, Eric Chotard, originally from Castelbriantais and a resident of Varadais for the past twenty years, founded the company in 2009 under the name Pièces Auto Rétro Chotard. The business focuses on selling spare parts for vintage and collectible vehicles. The adventure began simply in the garage of his home, primarily selling on a famous auction site. The success was so great that in 2014, the company took a major turn by deciding to specialize in lighting and signaling parts (headlights, lights, bulbs, etc.

RETROPTIC AUTO since 2014
Launched, the company now needed to find a name: RétrOptic'Auto. To offer a wider range to its customers, the company moved to Fresne-sur-Loire in September 2017. RétrOptic'Auto primarily sells in France, with 30% of sales made abroad. The company's uniqueness lies in the fact that it only sells period parts, whether new or used. Prefabrication will be the focus of a future project.
